Solutions Principal (Sr. Service Account Mgr)
The applicant will come from a business (Software world, Storage world) focused
technology background (Content Management, Documentum) dealing with both users and technicians and will have project management experience. Commercial acumen and knowledge of the sales environment are also important.
The role is sales focused with quarterly and annual personal sales targets.
The role will be region wide and may involve significant travel within the region
-Solution principals are the primary contact for new business opportunities within their sectors and will fulfil the role of SERVICE ACCOUNT MANAGERS.
--The professional services sales--
-Drive the business development activities within their sector
-Identifying and qualifying consulting opportunities (working with existing EMC
customers, prospective customers and internal Product Account Managers)
-Define sales strategy and approach on prospect accounts (Will have a sales quota)
-Development and presentation of proposals for professional services
-Working on key qualified opportunities
-RFP/RFI responses and SOW’s
-Develop trusted relationships with the Product Sales force to ensure Consulting involvement in sales opportunities
-Commercial negotiation of services sales
-Close business
-Responsible to ensure that the deals are constructed in a commercially adequate manner: profitability target are controlled, risks are identified and suitablemeasures put in place to manage etc
-Up to five years of experience in the market
-English Fluent
