Sr. Technology Consultant

The role of the Sales Engineer is to remove technical related buying objections from the RSA sales cycle. This is accomplished through Pre-sales Technical Security Support for RSA customers, prospects, channel partners, strategic partners, and internal RSA sales personal. Required activities include product presentations, demonstrations, training, integration, and general problem solving.

Job Responsibility
The Sales Engineer is responsible in maintaining a high-level of RSA security solution knowledge throughout their respective sales team. This individual will have a channel and named account focus. This person is seen as a strong value added resource to the sales team as well as a strong supporter of the RSA company values. Develops technical strategies to deliver RSA solutions that support business objectives at assigned accounts.


Requirements:
-CISSP or industry equivalent certifications
-Solid Network (TCP/IP, Routers, Firewalls, VPNs, etc) experience
-Solid Web application (IIS, Sun, BEA, IBM) experience
-Solid Web Services experience (SAML, SOAP, XML)
-Solid Experience in writing in different programming languages: Java, JSP's and C++
-Solid Directory and/or Database (MS AD, SunOne, Novell, Oracle, MS SQL) experience
-Solid security expertise in related to Authentication, Identity Management, Access Management solutions
-Solid experience in architecting medium to complex customer solutions
-Excellent Presentation skills
-Knowledge of Financial Industry is a plus.
-BS or MS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
-5 - 10 years experience as sales or senior sales engineering in networking or networking based technology solutions
-Travel Availability 50%-75% of time
-Fluent English
